About Nadine
Nadine is an experienced Registered Psychologist, with a Professional Masters in Psychology from Macquarie University and an honours degree in Psychology. She has worked in complex systems, such as the Northern Beaches Hospital, Child Protection and Head to Health before entering private practice.
Nadine is passionate about working with children, parents, adolescents and young adults. She loves sharing her knowledge of Psychology in assisting by transforming the lives of clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment, self-harm, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, trauma. In addition to this, she works closely with clients who are nuerodiverse, including ADHD, Autism, PDA, Learning difficulties.
Nadine is also an important team member and collaborates with the clinic Director with the Diagnostic Testing clinic, assisting to conduct Adult ADHD assessments, WISC, WIAT, Attention tests, ADOS (Autism play-based assessment).
She has completed a Hatha & Asthtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India. She balances this passion by her daily self-care practice of mindfulness, pranayama (breathe-work) and yoga. By nature, Nadine is compassionate, calm, patient and non-judgemental in the way she engages with her clients.
Her orientation of work is client-centred, holistic and varies her treatment style to to suit each client. She is trained in modalities of therapy, including, cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, self-compassion and mindfulness therapies.
Nadine also speaks Tamil fluently and is also passionate about supporting Culturally and Linguistically Diverse clients.
Nadine is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists incorporated (AAPi).
